For Referring Veterinarians

Wellness & Rehabilitation

We don’t just provide comprehensive veterinary medicine. We see the bigger picture. And it means the longest, happiest life possible for the pet you love.

Why Physical Therapy? Physical rehabilitation for animals is based on principles similar to those in human physical therapy. Physical therapy has been recommended for human patients to manage chronic, painful conditions and to help improve recovery from injuries, surgeries, and neurologic disorders. Our dogs and cats suffer from similar conditions. They can benefit from physical rehabilitation as part of their care plan to help return them to comfortable movement and function.

Patients are accepted by referral. Your regular veterinarian’s input is vital to the diagnosis and treatment of your pet. Rehabilitation is an extention of regular veterinary and wellness care. The vets and rehab team work together and provide regular reports to you and to each other about your pet’s condition. Your pet will continue to be a patient with your regular veterinarian.

Physical rehabilitation can benefit dogs recovering from injury, surgery, or managing degenerative disease or reduced mobility due to aging.
